Baggage in the hold - Montpellier Airport

+A -A

Standard baggage is allowed in the hold. This service may be provided free up to a certain weight or number of items, depending on the airline, destination and type of ticket.

When preparing your baggage and at check-in, Montpellier Méditerranée Airport invites you to follow the recommendations below:

  • Remove old labels from your baggage.
  • Clearly indicate your name and address on the inside and outside of your baggage. It is advisable to attach a distinguishing mark to each piece of baggage (sticker, tape…) making it easier to locate at baggage claim, on arrival.
  • Do not place valuables in your hold baggage.
  • Keep your medicines and prescriptions with you.
  • Carefully wrap anything fragile.
  • Do not accept any baggage or package from a third party, whatever the reason.
  • Never leave your baggage unattended, even for a short time as it will be considered suspicious and may be destroyed.
  • Report any abandoned baggage or packages to the airport officials.
