Marrakech, a sumptuous, entrancing city.

More information

Located at the foot of the High Atlas, Marrakech is Morocco’s third largest city in terms of population and the tourist destination par excellence. Famous throughout the world, particularly for its palm grove, this city is a living, skilfully staged spectacle of people and folklore.

Indulge yourself in the unique atmosphere of this magnificent imperial city. Bustling with activity day and night, you can sample the kebabs in Jemaa El Fna Square, watch the snake charmers and listen to storytellers. Tour the city in a horse and carriage, stroll through the beautiful gardens of the city or get lost in the many souks whose reputation is second to none.

Take time to discover the herbalists’ shops and their plants with real or alleged virtues and succumb to a relaxing massage with essential oils.

Far from the bustle of the medina, Marrakech, also known as the "red city" for its red and ochre ramparts, also features an impressive cultural heritage with many attractions to visit: spellbinding sites like the Bahia Palace, the El Badi Palace, Majorelle Garden and Koutoubia Mosque.
