Passenger information:
- Rights of airline passengers : reinforced by the E.U. from February 2005
- From February 2005, the rights of European Union airline passengers have been reinforced and extended to include a guarantee for fair treatment towards any problem encountered during travel. This new European legislation increases compensation due to passengers from airline companies in case of refused boarding. It also creates new rights for compensation and assistance for passengers victim to flight cancellations or long delays. Finally, it is also applicable to passengers on charter and domestic flights.

- Final check-in time:
- To guarantee your own comfort and the one of the others passengers, a presentation of 60 minutes before departure is advised
- Domestic flights: T-20 mn
- Passengers with connecting flights: T-30 mn
- International flights: T-30 mn (Ryanair flights: T-40 mn)
- For all passengers requiring assistance, such as children travelling alone, groups, disabled people: T-30mn.
- UM: Unaccompagnied Minors.

- From the age of 4, 5 or 6, depending on the airline, until the day before their 12th birthday, children can travel alone as UM passengers. The child is taken care of by the airline staff, from boarding to disembarkation from the aeroplane. At the airport of departure, pick up a special UM pack which contains the ticket, the child's ID, parental authorisation, identification of the person in charge of looking after the child, and an authorisation to leave the country for international flights.
- British Airways: Children aged 5 or more for direct flights, and aged 6 or more for connecting flights.
- Ryanair: No UM
- In exceptional cases children aged below 4 can be looked after by a hostess. For these special cases, you should contact the airline.
- Transport of animals:
- In the hold: in cages sold by the airlines.
- In the cabin: in a bag measuring 50 x 40 x 20 cm with the airline's prior authorisation.
- Health formalities: contact the airlines or vaccination centre.
- Visa/Passport: To cross borders, make sure you have an identity card or passport. You will require a visa to visit certain countries. To find out which documents you need, contact the Customs authorities, the Embassy or the relevant country.
- Free baggage allowance:
- No allowance for babies aged less than 24 months.
- Air France: 23 kg in economy class
- British Airways: 30 kg in club class, 23 kg in economy class
- Ryanair: 15 kg.
