Baggage in the cabin - Montpellier Airport

To facilitate your passage through our airport, we recommend that you keep your hand baggage to a strict minimum. Please read the following recommendations carefully:


  • Each passenger is allowed one piece of hand baggage in the cabin. The maximum dimensions are normally 55 cm x 35 cm x 25 cm.
  • In addition to this baggage, depending on the airline, you are allowed to take another item, such as a handbag, cot, laptop, wheelchair, crutches or stroller.
  • The total weight of these items must not usually exceed 10 Kg.

Be careful: each airline has its own policy regarding hand baggage. Please enquire about this at the time of purchasing your ticket.



 

ITEMS THAT ARE AUTHORIZED BUT CANNOT BE USED DURING THE FLIGHT

  • Cell phone
  • Radio CD
  • Walkie-talkie, remote control



ITEMS THAT ARE AUTHORIZED BUT RESTRICTED DURING TAKEOFF AND LANDING

  • Laptop, tablet, Cellphone (when authorized)
  • Camcorder
  • Electric shaver
  • TV
  • Walkman, Mp3…



PROHIBITED ITEMS IN THE CABIN

Here is the non-exhaustive list of prohibited items in the cabin:

  • Revolvers, firearms and imitations
  • Knives and sharp objects
  • Blunt instruments
  • Explosives and flammable substances
  • Chemical or toxic substances
  • Liquids


ESSENTIAL ITEMS DURING THE FLIGHT

If certain liquid products or gels are essential to you during the flight, you will be allowed to carry them with you as hand baggage under the following conditions:

  • Vials or tubes must contain a maximum of 100 ml.
  • They must be placed in a single transparent, re-sealable plastic bag*.
  • The bag must be closed and measure 20X20 cm.

* If you have not brought a plastic bag with you, you can buy one from the Relay boutique located in the Departures hall.



 

Medication and baby food required for the journey are allowed in exceptional circumstances.
