Parking reservation

Can I book a parking spot?
Online booking is available for any period of 3 to 60 days of parking. Other car parks are accessible without reservation.

When can I book my parking spot online?
You can book your parking spot online 6 months in advance and up to 1 hour before the start of your parking. For more information, go to the rates & booking page of our parking section.

Does my parking booking guarantee me a dedicated space?
No, but it guarantees you an available spot when you arrive at the P6 100% Web car park.

My order payment was refused, what should I do?
Please note that payment refusals depend on your bank and not on Montpellier Méditerranée Airport. We invite you to renew your order after contacting your bank or by using another payment method.

I didn't received my booking voucher by email, what should I do?
We invite you to check your spam mail or log in to your MPL account. At any time, you can reprint or download your reservation voucher from the "My orders" tab. If you still cannot find your reservation voucher, please contact us via our contact page.

How can I cancel my parking reservation before parking begins?
You can cancel your reservation yourself free of charge up to 3 hours before the start of your parking, directly from your MPL account, “My orders” tab, then “View my order” and “Cancel my reservation”. Your bank account will be automatically credited once the cancellation is confirmed from your MPL account.

Is it possible to change my parking reservation before parking begins?
For reasons of availability and management of parking spaces, it is not possible to modify a reservation. However, you can cancel your reservation yourself free of charge up to 6 hours before the start of your parking, then make a new reservation, directly from your MPL account, “My orders” tab, then “View my order” and “Cancel my reservation”. Your bank account will be automatically credited once the cancellation is confirmed from your MPL account.

I have a parking reservation, what should I do when I arrive at the airport?
To enter the P6 100% Web car park:
- Enter the access code that was given to you on the numeric keypad located on the P6 – 100% Web car park entrance terminal. Once your access code is validated, the terminal will automatically issue you with a ticket. Keep it, you will need it to exit the car park.
- If necessary, do not hesitate to use the intercom by pressing the "i" button to obtain assistance: assistance is available from 4:30 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. (or until the last scheduled flight).
- Allow enough time to park your vehicle and reach the terminal on foot, respecting the time constraints related to your flight (estimated journey time of approximately 5 minutes).

Can I use my parking reservation outside the times specified in advance?
You can enjoy your reservation up to 6 hours before your scheduled arrival time and up to 6 hours after your scheduled departure time. If you plan to arrive earlier or depart later, consider canceling your reservation and then making a new reservation, directly from your MPL account.

How do I extend my parking reservation that has already started?
It is not possible to extend a parking reservation that has already started. You will simply have to pay the supplement corresponding to your overstay directly at the exit terminal (7€/24h from the date & time of the end of the reservation).

How to request a parking refund?
For any parking reimbursement request, simply complete the “Parking Reimbursement” form.

I haven't booked a parking spot, can I still park when I arrive at the airport?
Yes, there are car parks available without reservation. However, booking your parking online allows you to benefit from the best rates. For more information, visit the rates & reservations page of our parking section.

I'm dropping off a passenger, do I have to pay for parking?
A drop-off point is available at Montpellier Airport. You have 10 minutes free.

How far are the car parks from the terminal?
All airport car parks are located within a 10-minute walk of the terminal building. For more information, please visit the Rates and Booking page of our Parking section.

Are car parks under surveillance ?
50 m from the Departures hall, Car Hotel is a 24/7 secure car park that allows you to quickly access the terminal, and benefit from a valet parking service and interior/exterior cleaning.

For all other car parks managed by the airport, the fees charged are only parking fees, the airport declines all responsibility in the event of damage, accident or theft.

I am a person with reduced mobility, what spaces are available?
Dedicated spaces for people with reduced mobility are available in car parks P2, P4 and P6 and have identifiable signage. To find out more, go to the rates & booking page in our Parking section.

What are the parking hours?
The car parks are accessible 24/7. If you have a reservation for the P6 car park, you can enter up to 6 hours before the start of your parking time and exit up to 6 hours after the end of the time indicated in your reservation.
If you exceed this 6-hour period, a penalty fee of €7 per day is applied, in accordance with the General Terms and Conditions of Sale.

What is the width and height of the parking lot entrances/exits?
The width and height of the entrances/exits is 2.50 m on all airport car parks. Vehicles exceeding these dimensions cannot park on the airport car parks. The maximum height for the P2 basement is 1.90 m.

Is it possible to park at the airport with a two-wheeler?
Yes, all airport car parks are accessible to two-wheelers, at the same rates as cars.

What parking subscriptions are available?
You can join our loyalty program to benefit from a 20% discount on your parking. This card is a prepaid parking pass, usable in the Drop off, P2 & P4 car parks only, valid all year round and rechargeable at any time at the automatic pay stations and/or with the parking agent in the basement of P2.
Subscribe for €96 of parking and pay only €80.
Subscribe for €192 of parking and pay only €160.

How can I pay for my parking?
Payment for parking can be made directly at the parking exit terminal (by credit card only), at the automatic pay station (payment in cash or credit card) or at the Parcs Autos reception (payment by check, cash or credit card).
FDI Lounge Reservation

How can I get access to the Lounge by FDI and Premium Skip the Line?
Access is offered to eligible customers based on loyalty programs or the fare class of partner airlines. For more information, visit the Lounge by FDI page in our Shops & Services section.
Priority Pass, Lounge Key, Lounge Pass, Dragon Pass program customers can access the lounge by FDI under certain conditions.
For all other passengers, access to these services is subject to a fee (€18 for those over 12, €9 for those aged 2 to 12, free access for children aged 0 to 2), and can be booked directly from the Lounge by FDI & Skip the Line page in our Shops & Services section.

What are the Lounge by FDI opening hours ?
The Lounge by FDI is open every day:
Monday to Friday and Sunday from 4:45 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Saturday from 4:45am to 7:15 p.m.
The opening hours of the lounge are given for information purposes only and may be changed depending on the time of year and without notice.

How long is Lounge by FDI access valid?
Lounge by FDI access is valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.

I have not received my lounge reservation voucher by email, what should I do?
We invite you to check your spam mail or log in to your MPL account. At any time, you can reprint or download your reservation voucher, from the "My orders" tab, then "View my order" and "Download my reservation voucher". If you still cannot find your reservation voucher, please contact us via the Contact page.

I ordered Lounge by FDI access, what should I do when I arrive at the airport?
To go through the Premium Fast Track:
Scan this barcode, then your boarding pass, on the reader located at the Premium Fast Track access in the Departures Hall.
If necessary, do not hesitate to ask the agent present at the Premium Fast Track level for assistance.
To enter the Lounge by FDI:
Follow the Salon by FDI signs; the lounge is located near boarding gates 16-17
Show this barcode and your boarding pass to the hostess when you enter the lounge.

I have a question about booking flights on an airline website, what should I do ?
For any flight booked directly on an airline's website, we invite you to directly contact the airline.

How do I get my plane ticket after booking my flight?
If you purchased your flight from our website, our service provider RESATRAVEL generally sends you 2 emails:
- An email entitled "Order confirmation" with a reference number starting with the letters GX followed by 6 digits and the link to your online customer file via the purple button "My reservations". From then on, your payment is validated and your reservation is confirmed.
- An email named "Your travel document" containing information relating to your travel itinerary including the airline reference and the procedure for checking in online.

What are the payment methods for purchasing a flight?
If you buy your plane ticket from the website of our online travel provider, RESATRAVEL, you can pay for your flight by credit card. You also have the option to pay in 4 installments if you are more than 65 days before your departure date and in 3 installments if you are more than 35 days before (with bank charges that correspond to a credit) or by paper or digital holiday vouchers.

My flight is cancelled, how can I get a refund ?
If the flight has been cancelled by the company: the passenger makes a refund request to RESATRAVEL before or after the flight departure. The request is processed within 24 hours.

I want to cancel my travel, how doI get a refund ?
The passenger must make a cancellation request via their order tracking.
The request is processed within 24/48 hours.

How to get to the airport by public transportation?
An Airport Shuttle (line 620) managed by liO and the TaM bus and tram network provide easy access to Montpellier-Méditerranée Airport by public transportation from anywhere in the Montpellier metropolitan area. For more information, visit Access.

How to get to the airport by car?
10 minutes away from Montpellier city centre and the beaches, at the gateway to the motorway network, Montpellier Airport is easily accessible by car. For your parking at the airport, more than 3,000 parking spaces are available with or without reservation. And to leave the airport, a car rental service is also at your disposal.

How to get to the airport by taxi?
A taxi service is available at the airport, with or without reservation, providing daily trips to/from Montpellier-Méditerranée Airport, from the first to the last flight.

What's the airport shuttle's schedule?
The Airport Shuttle operated by liO provides a daily connection between Montpellier-Méditerranée Airport and Place de l’Europe in Montpellier (including Sundays and public holidays). Schedules are available on the Access page.

When and how can I check in and get my boarding pass?
Depending on your airline, you can check in online directly on the airline's website or at the check-in counter in the terminal (Departures Hall) on the day of your departure. If you have checked in in advance and do not have any checked baggage, you can go directly to the boarding gate, respecting the Boarding Deadline.

When should I arrive at the airport ?
Generally speaking, it is advisable to anticipate your arrival at the airport and respect the airlines' check-in deadlines.

Can a child travel alone?
Yes, depending on the airline used and by respecting certain formalities. For any information concerning the travel of a minor child departing from Montpellier, go to the Minor Travelers page of our Traveler's Guide section.
Children must have their own plane ticket as well as an identity document to be able to travel. Some companies also require other documents such as a travel authorization for example
Please note that it is not possible to accompany a child traveling alone to the boarding gate. If he or she is taken care of by the "unaccompanied minor" service, a member of staff from the company will accompany him or her for the entire duration of the trip

For any refund request or for any complaint concerning a flight, we invite you to contact your airline directly.

How do I pay for a flight with my chèque vacances ?
From our website, you can book your flight online, but you must pay for the trip with your credit card (you will be debited), by checking the box for payment by chèque vacances. Then, you have until before your departure to send your chèque vacances by registered mail with acknowledgement of receipt (shipping cost set by La Poste) accompanied by the form to download, print and fill out to the following address: VLC TRAVEL - RESANEO - 73 ter, rue Francis de Pressensé -Bâtiment GATE 73 - 69100 VILLEURBANNE - FRANCE. You will be reimbursed within 6 weeks maximum. Information on sending the vouchers will be indicated in your booking process. There is no ticket sales counter in the terminal. If you wish to pay directly with your chèque vacances, you can also go to a travel agency.

How can I book a flight?
You can book your flight directly from your airline's website, from our website (with our online travel booking partner) or from travel agencies.

Can I travel while pregnant?
In the absence of medical or obstetrical complications, pregnant women can safely travel by air up to the 36th week of pregnancy. Most airlines impose a flight restriction for women in late pregnancy or may require written confirmation from their doctor. Contact your airline directly for their own policy on this matter.

I have a connecting flight, what to do if I have a checked baggage ?
If you are flying with the same airline and on the same reservation, your checked baggage will be automatically transferred to your second flight. You will then only have to check it in at Montpellier Airport.
In case of flights with two different airlines or via two different reservations, inquire with each airline. -
My luggage is damaged, lost or delayed

What can I take in my baggage (cabin and hold)?

There are many restrictions on the products accepted for checked baggage and even more for cabin baggage.For cabin baggage:
Liquid products must be less than 100 ml
Solid foods are allowed except for any foods containing liquid (dishes in sauce, soups, liquid or malleable fresh cheese, etc.) -
Can I take medication on board?

I lost an item at the airport, what should I do ?
If you have lost an item, the airport and its partner Troov allow you to make your declaration online by filling out the loss form on the form available on Troov.com
Thanks to TROOV, you declare the lost item online in complete security, giving as much information as possible, and then you choose to have it recovered on site or sent to your home (paid services). -
I lost an item on the plane, what should I do ?

All items confiscated during security checks are systematically destroyed without the possibility of compensation.

My ID card or passport has expired, can I still travel?
To travel within the EU and Switzerland, a valid identity card is required. Please note: since 1 January 2014, the validity of the identity card has been increased from 10 to 15 years (issued between 1 January 2004 and 31 December 2013).
For any travel outside the EU and Switzerland, a valid passport is required to travel.
